No. A lot of new members have never done structured strength training before. Every class is scaled to the individual and coaches demonstrate and correct each movement. The free intro class lets you see this for yourself before paying anything.

Yes. A good share of our members are training around an injury or returning from one. Movements are modified so you train around the injury rather than through it. For a significant injury, personal training gives you closer supervision than a group class.

Sandy Williams is the Head Coach. He spent 25 years as a professional dancer and choreographer, most of it with the contemporary dance company Rosas, and holds a degree in Kinesiology with more than ten years of coaching experience in strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and CrossFit.

PhysEd is on the 4th floor of The Faculty, Rue des Vétérinaires 47, a short walk from Brussels-Midi/Zuid station, which connects national and international trains with Metro lines 2 and 6. The nearest bus stop is Vétérinaires (line 78), right on our street. The nearest tram stop is Cureghem (line 81) — though it's currently replaced by a bus between Midi and Marius Renard while STIB carries out repairs near Gare du Midi, expected into 2027. If you're driving, there's paid street parking nearby, and cyclists are welcome to bring bikes inside — just let us know. Note that the building has no lift, so you'll need to take the stairs to the 4th floor.
